This blue plaque commemorates the humble breakfast cereal, Weet-Bix, which was introduced in 1926. Professional Central Coast Council lifeguards patrol Toowoon Bay Beach from Monday until Friday. During weekends and on Public Holidays these locations are patrolled by Sur Life Saving volunteers. People with a disability will now find it easier to access Toowoon Bay Beach with a Sand Cruiser Wheelchair available for bookings. Contact Toowoon Bay Surf Club for bookings.
