Bolt + Buckle Brisbane is a men's clothing, gift and leather goods store inside the heritage-listed Brisbane Arcade, between Queen Street Mall and Adelaide Street in the Brisbane CBD. It opened in 2016 as Indepal Leather and is known as the "men are so hard to buy for" store, the place to find a gift for him, whether it's a birthday, Father's Day or Christmas. The store is home to Indepal Leather, Bolt + Buckle's own range of top-grain leather bags, satchels, duffles, messenger bags, wallets, belts and journals, plus men's leather jackets. Alongside it is a curated menswear range from labels including Industrie, NN07, Mr. Simple, Rock and Roll Religion and Will & Bear, and a range of quirky men's gifts. MacArthur Museum- Brisbane is dedicated to telling the stories of the Allied campaign in the South-West Pacific Area (SWPA); the role of US General Douglas MacArthur as Supreme Commander of Allied forces in SWPA; and the impact of the war on the city of Brisbane and its people. The MacArthur Museum -Brisbane is part of the heritage listed MacArthur Chambers building at 201 Edward Street Brisbane The majority of the headquarters of major formations within SWPA were located in this building. Allied Land Command was located at St Lucia under General Sir Thomas Blamey an appointment he held as the majority of ground combat troops in SWPA were Australian until April !944. General Douglas MacArthur commanded the war in the SWPA from July 1942 to November 1944 from his office on the 8th floor. Prior to its requisitioning by the Commonwealth Government , General Douglas MacArthur's office had been the Board Room of the Australian Mutual Provident Society (AMP Society) MacArthur Museum- Brisbane incorporates the restored office of US General Douglas MacArthur, the Supreme Commander of Allied forces in the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) during WWII. Cathedral of St Stephen

St Stephens Catholic Cathedral in Brisbane city is a 19th-century, neo-Gothic building with a modern extension built in 1989. The cathedral houses striking sculptures and a memorable collection of 19th-century stained glass windows from Germany, France, England and Ireland. The neighbouring Pugin Chapel was Queensland's first church and was built in 1850. Within it there is a shrine to Saint Mary Mackillop. Born in Melbourne in 1842, she and her sisters shared the life of the poor and the itinerant, offering special care to destitute women and children. Brisbane sculptor, John Elliott sliced, carved and recombined the trunk of a hundred-year-old camphor laurel tree to craft the figure of Mary MacKillop. The rough bark recalls the slab hut in which she opened her first school. St Stephens is not only an important place for those who use it regularly, but for the whole city of Brisbane as it provides an oasis of green that invites people to rest awhile. The Roman Catholic church offers tours every weekday at 10.30am, right after the 10am mass. St Stephens can also be used as a unique wedding venue.

Designed by architect, George David Payne, St Andrew's is an excellent example of Romanesque-Byzantine architecture. Features include magnificent stained glass windows by Brisbane artist William Bustard and Melbourne firm, Brooks Robinson. The Peace Chapel contains World War honour boards and a communion set used at Gallipoli. The arched-tiered chancel, pipe organ, choir and fine ecclesiastical furniture are impressive. This Heritage Listed Church is open during the week to the public between 11am and 2pm. Guided tours for groups are also available by appointment. Customs House, one of Brisbane's most recognisable heritage buildings, sits on the Brisbane River in the CBD. Completed in 1889, it once served as the city's principal customs collection point, where duties were levied on goods arriving from overseas and from other Australian colonies. Today the beautifully restored building is operated by The University of Queensland as a cultural, educational and heritage venue. Behind the grand Corinthian columns are elegant boardrooms and a striking domed ballroom. At river level, Patina at Customs House occupies part of the former Queen's Warehouse. Dine inside amongst heritage surrounds or outside on the terrace overlooking the river. A range of function spaces is also available for corporate and private events for up to 350 guests.

Albert Street Uniting Church

Albert Street Uniting Church has been a Spiritual Home in Brisbane City for over 160 years. The church is in the decorative Gothic style of architecture to harmonise the style with the requirements of a tropical climate. The most prominent feature of the external design is the spire on the Albert and Ann Streets corner. This rises to a height of 42 metres from the street. The spire continues upward in a graceful and unbroken line, capped by a handsome wrought-iron finial. The Church is open Monday to Friday, for prayer and reflection, and is also a popular venue for local and international weddings.

St John's Cathedral

St John's Cathedral is a heritage site with cultural splendour unrivalled in Brisbane. With gothic-revival architecture, the foundation stone was laid in 1901 and the cathedral was finally finished 108 years later in 2009. The Cathedral features wood-carvings, stained-glass, 350 million-year-old limestone and the only fully stone-vaulted ceiling in the southern hemisphere. The Cathedral's front contains pillars of fossiliferous limestone 350 million years old from Frosterley, United Kingdom, in which skeletons of Coral polyps and bi-valve shells are clearly visible. Every window in the cathedral is of significance: from the large early 20th century Wheel window to the collection of William Bustard's work, and then the later vibrant windows of David Saunders. The Millennium Window, designed by Scott Maxwell and made by Warwick Blair, was installed in 2001. The Cathedral has 12 huge bells dating back to 1876. You can hear them ringing before the morning Sunday service and for weddings. St John’s contains one of Queensland’s more notable collections of memorials to the First and Second World Wars. There is an ANZAC-emblazoned flag hanging in the South Transept that was the very last flag flown at the evacuation of the Anzacs from Gallipoli on 19th December 1915.
