What to expect
Located just a few minutes west of Kiama township, Spring Creek offers a wonderful example of successfully rehabilitated wetlands. Follow the short walking path along the creek banks, winding through a variety of regenerating bushland, or pause at the purpose-built bird hide to enjoy the abundant birdlife. Keep an eye out for the many waterbirds and common bush birds that call these wetlands home, including Golden-headed Cisticola, Black-fronted Dotterel, Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike and Mistletoebird.
