Shelly Beach features a rocky shoreline and a picturesque rock pool, offering a calm spot for swimming. While the area is not patrolled by lifeguards, the sheltered conditions make it a popular choice for families with younger children. The area is easily accessible for prams and people with disability and includes a large, grassed reserve with barbecues, shaded seating and a fully fenced playground featuring a liberty swing. Across the road, you'll find Shelly Park Shop and Nun's Pool Café, perfect for a relaxed bite after time by the water.
