What to expect
Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre is a vibrant coastal landmark that captures the essence of Western Australia's beach culture. Located in the heart of the esplanade area on the iconic Scarborough Beach, this open-air venue is more than just a performance space, it's a beloved meeting point for locals and visitors alike. With tiered seating that offers panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, it's the ultimate spot for people-watching, soaking in the laid-back beach vibe, and observing surfers and kite surfers carving through the waves. As the sun dips below the horizon, the amphitheatre becomes front-row seating to one of WA's most breath-taking natural spectacles, the fiery, golden sunset that paints the sky in unforgettable hues. This daily show alone makes it a must-visit destination. Beyond its scenic allure, the amphitheatre is a cultural hub, hosting a variety of events year-round. It comes alive during the Scarborough Sunset Markets, where the air fills with the sounds of live music, DJ sets, and the buzz of dancing crowds. Food stalls, artisan vendors, and community performances transform the surrounding esplanade area into a festive celebration of local talent and global flavours. Whether you're there to relax, connect, or celebrate, the Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre is WA's only beachside amphitheatre and offers an unforgettable slice of coastal life.
