About this place
What to expect
Located just inside the entrance to the Port Broughton Area School is the Remembrance Walking Trail, a 1km trail through natural scrubland. This trail was researched and built by Port Broughton Area School students and staff. All major wars in which Australia participated, from the Boer War to Afghanistan are commemorated with a large stone wall and an information board. Visitors and community members are welcome to walk the trail. It is open every day of the year and is free! Seating has been provided at regular intervals. Wheelchair and pram access is available from the top of the hill near the entrance gate to the school.
