What to expect
At the end of Perkins St in Jamieson, right beside the Jamieson River, you will find the perfect place to share a snack or just take some time out and relax. Lots of shade under the famous Jamieson trees. Take a moment to look at the birds - you are sure to see some ducks going by, and maybe a parrot or two. Listen to the burble of the river- or if it's hot you may be tempted to take a dip. Picnic tables and soft grassy banks make this a great place to have a picnic. Grab a snack from the store nearby or use the barbeque facilities to cook a snag.
