What to expect
North Durras is Shoalhaven's most southern beach. A river mouth at its southern end is a natural transition to its neighbour, Eurobodalla, and just behind the dunes is North Durras village, a small community of just a few hundred residents. The consistent sand banks make North Durras Beach a popular spot for intermediate surfers. The northern reef is popular in bigger swell, while the northern end of the beach faces south and is protected from the north-eastern wind.
