What to expect
The Heritage-Listed Newcastle Waters Historic Township, situated 25 kilometres north of Elliott in the 'middle' of the Northern Territory is a passive mirror into the Droving history and Pastoral Industries of Australia. Surrounded by the Newcastle Waters Station and the Marlinja Aboriginal Community, it offers a 'glimse of the past'. It is situated 3 kilometres off the Stuart Highway and it requires a comprehensive 'Interpretive Signage' Strategy to enhance the experience.
