What to expect
The Mystery Bay Short Walk is a short but rewarding bush walk in Eurobodalla National Park on the South Coast, leading to one of the most secluded and protected beaches in the Mystery Bay area. From the Mystery Bay campground, follow the bush track north to Billy's Beach, an important Aboriginal site and a great spot for families. This small beach is enclosed by headlands and sheltered from the wind by the surrounding bushland. Explore the rock pools at the northern end of the beach, full of marine life, and enjoy magnificent views of Barunguba Montague Island along the way. The walk is one kilometre return, graded easy, and takes around 40 minutes. Please note that beaches in the park are not patrolled, and mobile reception is limited. Pets are not permitted in the national park, except certified assistance animals.
