What to expect
Take in the stunning river and valley views whilst overlooking the picturesque farming land, from Mount Alfred Gap Lookout. Mount Alfred's Gap Lookout features a picnic table, suitable for a mid-way stop along the Great River Road. Whilst you're there, admire the Wedge Tail Eagle sculpture and if you stand at just the right spot, you can take a photo that looks like the eagle is stealing your hat. Continue your Great River Road adventure by continuing up the Murray River Road to the Pine Mountain Information Wayside Stop or downriver to 'The Bridge to Moon' past Talgarno.
