What to expect

Pioneering midwife Ernstine Pauline Milich helped deliver more than 200 babies in the 1900s, including 14 of her own children. A memorial stands at the landing to honour her work in local medicine. Her old camp site is marked with a plaque and the area is known as Daisy Bates Reserve.
