What to expect
Located on Groongal Avenue, Jubilee Oval is a cornerstone of Griffith's sporting community. This versatile venue hosts a range of seasonal sports, including rugby league, rugby union, and cricket. Equipped with training lights, changerooms, toilets, and ample parking, it caters to both athletes and spectators alike. Beyond regular sports fixtures, Jubilee Oval serves as the starting point for major community events such as the annual City2Lake Fun Run, a 9.5 km course that raises funds for local cancer support services. Recent upgrades, funded through the Stronger Country Communities Fund, have enhanced the facility with new amenities and reconfigured fields to accommodate larger events. Whether you're a sports enthusiast or attending a community event, Jubilee Oval offers a dynamic and welcoming environment in the heart of Griffith.
