About this place
What to expect
Jeffs Edge sits inside the channel of Lady Musgrave Lagoon, where strong water movement creates ideal conditions for drift diving. Let the current do the work as you glide along the reef wall, covering plenty of ground while taking in the incredible marine life. The wall features overhangs, ledges, caves and crevices, providing endless hiding spots for all kinds of underwater creatures. Turtles, pelagic species and colourful reef fish such as parrotfish, coral trout and sweetlip are regular sightings. Keep an eye out for whitetip, blacktip and grey reef sharks, along with eagle rays, stingrays and bull rays cruising through the area. With depths ranging from 8 to 22 metres, Jeffs Edge is also home to beautiful hard and soft corals, while large patches of turtle weed add to the underwater scenery. Just go with the flow and keep your eyes peeled. You never know what might drift into view next.
