What to expect
Nestled in the Kerry Forest you will find Chefingo's Trout and Marron Farm located at The Forest Lodge Resort. The Lake is stocked with fresh trout every year and they offer Angler Rods for hire. They feature one of the only places in the southwest where you can fish your own trout and have the Chef cook the trout for you. Catch and release or catch and kill to take it home or let the Chef cook it for you. Or cook it yourself on our BBQ area. During the season, they offer Marrons which the guest can purchase for take away or they can cook it at the BBQ area, or they can cook it at the Restaurant.
