Did you know Boggabri's main street has been relocated three times since the town was established in the early 1860s? Learn more about this unique history by following the self-guided Heritage Walk through the township, with trail brochures available from the museum. Step inside the restored old schoolhouse, carefully recreated as a classroom from years gone by, and take a journey through the stories that have shaped the community. The museum is open on Saturday mornings or by appointment and also serves as the meeting place for the local Boggabri Men's Workshop (Shed), which gathers every Thursday and Saturday morning. If you're visiting in late April, don't miss the annual Boggabri Drovers Campfire Weekend, when caravanners, campers and motorhome travellers from across Australia come together to celebrate one of the region's most popular community events.
