About this place
What to expect
Blackall Golf Club is a standout in Queensland's outback golf scene — a friendly, community-focused club where every round feels like a country adventure. With dry fairways, iconic sand greens, and vast open landscapes, it delivers a uniquely Australian golf experience that's both relaxed and memorable. As a proud host of the Outback Queensland Masters in 2021 and 2025, Blackall has welcomed road-tripping golfers from across the country. These events showcased the town's spirit, the club's character, and the warmth of the locals who make it all happen. The course itself is open, honest, and full of charm. Sand greens test your short game, and wildlife like kangaroos often join you on the fairways. It's the kind of place where laughs and great shots matter more than your scorecard. After the game, the clubhouse offers a true outback welcome. Visitors are invited to relax with a cold drink, swap stories, or join in a local comp or casual barbecue. It's here that the club's heart shines — in the conversations, the connections, and the genuine hospitality. Whether you're chasing the Outback Queensland Masters trail or passing through, Blackall Golf Club promises a golf experience filled with character, camaraderie, and that special country charm that keeps people coming back.
