Join knowledgeable volunteer guides for a fascinating tour through the Railway Museum, where the stories of its past come vividly to life. Since opening in 1892, the Yass Tramway has witnessed its share of unfortunate mishaps, unexpected incidents, and memorable moments that reveal a different side of railway history.
Visit the real locations where these events unfolded and discover the people, places, and circumstances behind each story. Along the way, you'll gain a fresh appreciation for the museum's long history, the challenges of railway life, and the drama hidden within its familiar surroundings.
Join them for lunch with a 'build your own burger' and cakes for dessert with tea and coffee provided (please provide any dietary requirements).
Please note that due to content it is recommended for 15+. The Railway Museum is an industrial site and not suitable for walkers or wheelchairs. Guide dogs are accepted.
