What to expect
The Tipsy Sketching Club presents a long pose life drawing session at Meantime on Beaumont in Hamilton, Newcastle, offering a slower and more immersive creative experience.
This relaxed Sunday afternoon session focuses on extended poses, giving participants the time and space to observe carefully, develop form, and explore tone, composition and detail without the pressure of rapid changes. With fewer poses and a calm, unhurried pace, the session supports focus, flow and thoughtful mark making.
Hosted in the welcoming setting of Meantime on Beaumont, visitors can enjoy quality drinks and a comfortable bar atmosphere while they draw. The experience blends creativity with connection, including natural breaks for refreshments, conversation and sharing work.
Drawing materials can be supplied, or participants are welcome to bring their own tools and preferred mediums. Open to all experience levels, from first time life drawers to established artists, this long pose session provides a mindful and rewarding way to spend a Sunday afternoon within Newcastle's creative community.
