About this event
What to expect
Sydney Ceramics Market is Australia's largest annual event celebrating local ceramic artists and makers, as a major event of Sydney Craft Week each October.
This two-day event showcases an impressive range of statement sculptural works by emerging artists to unique, high-quality tableware crafted by potters with decades of experience.
Far from your typical market, Sydney Ceramics Market is where design lovers, collectors and the curious come to discover one-of-a-kind works and get to know the makers shaping contemporary Australian ceramics.
In addition, enjoy live wheel-throwing and hand-building demonstrations, and pick up unique clays and specialist ceramic tools to inspire your own practice.
With such a breadth of perspective, technique and style gathered all under one roof, Sydney Ceramics Market continues to shape the conversation around contemporary ceramics in Australia and celebrates the endless possibilities in the medium of clay.
Tickets are available online via Humanitix or at the door all weekend, with kids under 13 free. Please visit the website for details on their next event.
