What to expect

Ever wanted to create your own mini museum? Dust off those old family photos and cherished keepsakes!

Join artist Blair Garland for a hands-on two-hour creative experience. You'll learn how to transform your personal history into a stunning, gallery-quality masterpiece.

Blair teaches sensory textile layering. Use rich fabrics and textures to build dramatic depth and even add your own custom stitching. You will also learn photo manipulation. The process of transforming old photographs and imagery into timeless art pieces.

Your inspiration could be vintage heirlooms or the nostalgic Redcliffe Jetty. Blair will help you blend past and present into a unique, multi-dimensional artwork.

No prior art experience needed. We'll provide all materials, tools, and creative spark!

About the artist Blair Garland is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based on the Redcliffe Peninsula. She was finalist in the 2026 Stanthorpe Art Prize.
