What to expect
Looking for a night of live entertainment in the Upper Hunter? Join Muswellbrook Amateur Theatrical Society (MATS) for Don't Dress for Dinner, a hilarious French farce packed with secrets, mistaken identities, unexpected guests and plenty of theatrical chaos!
When Bernard plans a romantic weekend while his wife is away, everything seems perfectly arranged. Unfortunately, nothing stays that way for long. As one outrageous misunderstanding leads to another, Bernard's carefully planned escape descends into a fast-paced comedy of errors where keeping track of who knows what, and who is supposed to be where, becomes almost impossible.
With sharp wit, larger-than-life characters and plenty of laughs, Don't Dress for Dinner is the perfect way to enjoy an evening of live local theatre.
MATS has been bringing theatre, entertainment and local talent to Muswellbrook and the Upper Hunter for more than 60 years. Make a night of it and experience the best of regional theatre while exploring everything the Upper Hunter has to offer.
