About this event
What to expect
Discover the Lara Community Market, a vibrant monthly country market in Lara, just 15 minutes north of Geelong and at the gateway to the iconic You Yangs Regional Park. Held on the second Sunday of each month from February to December, the market is a must-visit for locals and visitors exploring the Geelong, Bellarine and Greater Melbourne regions.
Showcasing the best of the region, the market features local artisans, makers, growers, fresh produce, handcrafted gifts, gourmet food, homewares, plants, fashion, pet products, skincare and specialty treats. Meet passionate small business owners, discover unique locally made products and support the region's thriving creative community.
Enjoy live music, delicious breakfast and lunch options, barista-made coffee and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Community groups and local organisations regularly host fundraising activities, adding to the welcoming spirit that makes the market a favourite destination for all ages.
Conveniently located at the Lara RSL with ample free parking and easy access, the Lara Community Market is the perfect stop before or after exploring the You Yangs, visiting Geelong's waterfront or discovering the Bellarine Peninsula. Whether you're searching for fresh local produce, artisan goods, unique gifts or an authentic regional market experience, you'll find something special at the Lara Community Market.
