What to expect
Look no further for local! The Boorowa Rotary Community Makers and Growers Market is held on the grounds of Boorowa's historic courthouse. A gathering of local growers, bakers and artisans offer fresh seasonal produce, homemade treats and handcrafted goods. It is a great place to meet the people behind the products, volunteer groups and support rural communities. The Rotary BBQ is always an Aussie favourite!
If you're looking for a little more to include in your shopping bags, step inside the courthouse to visit the Boorowa Information Centre and Arts and Crafts Co-op, where you will find an extended range of hand-knitted items, produce and Boorowa merchandise. While you are there, relax with a cup of coffee or enjoy a traditional Devonshire tea, with fresh scones, jam and cream available on request.
Just a short stroll from the main street of town, the market is an easy and enjoyable way to shop like a local and feel like a local.
