Fire Horse Workshops with Jake Yang

Paint your story onto a handmade ceramic tile and watch it become part of something bigger.

Multi-disciplinary artist Jake Yang will teach you traditional and contemporary Chinese art techniques in this hands-on workshop for his OzAsia Festival exhibition, Fire Horse.

Inspired by the Chinese zodiac year of the fire horse, participants will paint an ornate, handmade ceramic tile, which will then be glazed, fired, and added to a growing installation that expands throughout the festival - one story at a time.

Suitable for ages 7 and up, adult supervision required.
